John Firth
Biography
John Elliott Firth was the 3rd child (and first son) of George Firth and Susannah Elliott. John was born 13 Feb 1865 near Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. Around 1870 the family relocated to Buchanan County, Iowa. In 1880 John was listed as a farmer in the census.

John Firth and Elsie Belle Loy were married on 25 February 1892 at the First Methodist Episcopal Church, Independence, Buchanan County, Iowa. A little girl was born to them named Mary Susan Firth, on 11 Mar 1893.
Elsie is also the niece of Margaret Louisa Loy, who married John O. Torrence.
In March 1907, John Firth was living in North Dakota, according to his mother's obituary. In 1912, John was living in Los Angeles, California.
