This is the last Will and Testament of me Henry DAWSON the Elder of Moss in the Parish of Campsall in the County of York Farmer made by me this Thirtieth day of May in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Ten as follows. First I will and direct that all my just debts funeral expenses and the expense of proving and register of this my Will shall be paid and discharged as soon as conveniently may be by my Trustees and Executors hereinafter named and I do hereby subject all my Estates and effects both Real and Personal with and to the Payment thereof, and with the several Legacies or Sums of money hereinafter by me Bequeathed I give and bequeath unto my eldest son John DAWSON the sum of one shilling being all I intend him to have, having before advanced and paid to him more than what it is in my power to do to the rest of my children. I give and bequeath unto my Dear Wife Elizabeth DAWSON and my son Henry DAWSON all my ready Money, Stock, and Crops upon the farm now in my occupation, implements and utensils in Husbandry and all other my Personal Estate and effects of what nature or kind soever share and share alike. To and for their own use subject as aforesaid and as is hereinafter mentioned. I give and devise unto my son Henry DAWSON and my good friends John Boothroyd of Moss aforesaid cordwainer and Mark Beevers of Ladythorpe in the township of Fenwick in the parish of Campsall in the said county Farmer all that my close of Land lying and being at Moss aforesaid containing about five acres more or less and also all those my three cottage Houses situated at Little Smeaton in the Parish of Womersley in the said County and all other my Real Estate whatsoever and wheresoeveRex To hold all my said Real Estate and Hereditaments with the appurtenances unto the said Henry DAWSON John Boothroyd and Mark Beevers and their Heirs to the uses upon the Trusts and to and for the Intents and purposes hereinafter issued expressed and declared of and concerning the same but subject nonetheless to the provisions and conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say Upon Trust that they the said Henry DAWSON John Boothroyd and Mark Beevers or the Survivor or Survivors of them or the Heirs of such survivor shall and do receive the Rents Isscces? and Profits of my said Close of Land and cottage houses until the youngest of my children shall have attained his or her age of Twenty one years and upon Receipt thereof upon further trust to pay and aplly the same in and towards the maintenance education and bringing up of my younger children during their respective minorities Provided always and my Will and mind is that my said Wife Elizabeth shall continue to live and reside in my present Dwellinghouse and be aiding and assisting my said Trustees in the carrying on and management of my Farm and estate at Moss aforesaid and that the said Henry DAWSON, John Boothroyd and Mark Beevers or the survivors of them or the Heirs, Executors or Administators of such Survivor shall and do continue to carry on and manage my present farm and Hereditaments situate at Moss aforesaid and within the Parish of Campsall or elsewhere in such manner as they or he shall in their or his discretion think proper and as to them or him shall seem to be the most for the benefit of my children and for and towards their maintenance and support until my youngest child shall have attained his or her age of Twenty one years in case the Person or Persons of or under whom I now occupy or rent the same shall and will permit

them so to do, and by and out of the Rents of my said Real Estate and the Issues and Profits arising or accruing from the management and carrying on of my said farm in the first place to pay off and discharge all such debts and sums of money as shall or may be ?? and ?? by me to any person or persons at the time of my death, my funeral expenses the expenses of proving and registering of this my Will and in the next place to pay and keep down the rents of my said Farm and Premises as and when the same shall become due and all other matters whatsoever relating there to and to the trusts thereof and the costs charges and expenses of them my said Trustees in and about the same once any wise relating thereto and to the Execution of this my Will and in the next place thereout to maintain her my said wife so long as she continues to reside in my said present Dwellinghouse along with my children, and to maintain, cloath, educate and bring up my children until the youngest of them shall attain his or her age of Twenty one years and when and as soon as the youngest of my said children shall have attained his or her age of Twenty one years then upon further Trust that they the said Henry DAWSON John Boothroyd and Mark Beevers my said Trustees or the survivors or survivor of them his heirs executors or administrators shall and do be carried on by them as aforesaid or otherwise by selling and disposing of such part of my said Real Estate as will be sufficient to raise money for the paying the several Legacies hereafter by me given to my several younger children, which I do hereby authorize and empower them to do, in case such sale shall be necessary, and direct that their Receipt or the Receipts of the Survivors or Survivor of them my said Trustees shall be a sufficient discharge to the purchase or purchases of all or any part of my said Real Estate and Hereditaments, that is to say, the sum of Eighty pounds apiece unto or for the benefit of my two sons George and Isaac and the sum of Sixty pounds apiece unto or for the benefit of my four Daughters Ann Esther Hannah and Susannah DAWSON and to whom respectively I do hereby give and bequeath the same and I do hereby order and direct that the respective legacies or sums of money so hereinbefore by my bequeathed to or intended for the use and benefit of my younger children as aforesaid shall be paid to them respectively at their respective age of Twenty one years without any Interest in the mean time. With benefits of survivorship between or amongst them in case of the death of any of them before they attain that age and my will and mind further is and I do hereby order and direct that they any said Trustees or any of them shall not be answerable or accountable for more money or other effects other than what shall actually come to their or his hands or possession respectively by virtue of this my Will nor shall they or any of them be answerable or accountable the one for the other or others of them nor for the acts deeds receipts or defaults of the other or others of them but each of these for his and their own acts deeds receipts and defaults only nor shall they or may happen to or befal all or any part of the said trust monies or other effects by reason of any bad or insufficient security or securities whereonthe said Trust monies are or is or shall or may be put and placed for safe custody

They my said Trustees acting in the Trusts hereby in them reposed according to the best of their judgements and that is shall and may be lawful to and for them my said trustees and the survivors and survivor of them his Executors and administrators to retain and reimburse themselves and himself by and out of the said Trust monies and other Effects all such Loss Costs Charges Damages and Expenses which they or any of them shall or may necssarily pay expend sustain or be in any wise put unto in and about the execution of this my will and the trusts thereof hereby in them reposed and I do hereby appoint my said Dear Wife Elizabeth DAWSON and them the said Henry DAWSON John Boothroyd and Mark Beevers joint guardians of all my children during their respective minorities and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint them the said Wife Elizabeth DAWSON join Executors and Excutrisce of this my last Will and Testament. In Trust nevertheless for the purposes aforesaid hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said Henry DAWSON the Elder the said Testator have to this my last Will and Testament contained on three sheets of paper set my Hand and Seal, that is to say, my Hand to the two first sheets thereof and my Hand and Seal to this the third and last sheet thereof the day and year first before written.

I do hereby certify that on the twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and then Henry DAWSON the younger son of the within named Henry DAWSON the Elder, John Boothroyd of Moss in the parish of Campsall Cordwainer, and Mark Beevers of Ladythorpe in the township of Fenwick in the parish of Campsall aforesaid Farmer Joint surviving executors named in this the last Will and Testament of Henry DAWSON the Elder late of Moss aforesaid Farmer in the Diocese of York, Farmer, deceased, were sworn well and truly to execute and perform the same; and that the whole of the goods, chattels, and credits of the said deceased within the Diocese of York, do not amount in value to the sum of six hundred pounds
